SkillsTRAK® Task Inventory is a logical division of tasks into 3 tiers:
1) Topics
2) Skill sets associated with those Topics, and
3) Individual Tasks within those Skill sets
Dividing Tasks into logical groupings of Skill sets enables a company to easily retrieve information and competency status and focus training initiatives pertaining to those areas. It also acts as a simple Profiler - a progression planning tool that assigns Tasks and Training to appropriate positions and people.
The Task Hierarchy is fully customizable and serves as a storehouse for Tasks and Training courses. Users determine how they would like their Tasks organized and labeled for use in the Competency Management tool.
